Kathryn Cavanaugh brings over 20 years of investing and operating experience with 15 years in early stage venture capital. Ms. Cavanaugh has been investing in and advising in early stage companies for the last fifteen years across the healthcare, technology and consumer sectors with roles at leading venture capital and growth equity funds.
From 2016-2019, Ms. Cavanaugh worked for Grace Beauty Capital, a family office for the Fazzinga family in New York City, where she sourced, led and managed early stage investments in the consumer and retail sectors, such as MM.LaFleur, ThirdLove, Supergoop, Rothy’s, Parachute, Primary, Vengo and Pixlee. From 2005-2010, Ms. Cavanaugh worked for De Novo Ventures, a top quartile $650 million healthcare fund in Palo Alto, CA, where she evaluated, executed, and supported over $350 million of equity investments in early to late stage healthcare companies across three funds as part of the investment team. From 2010-2012, she led West Coast deal sourcing for Sightline Partners, a direct secondary fund based in Minneapolis, MN focused on early stage healthcare companies. In addition, Ms. Cavanaugh worked for Mainsail Partners, a lower middle market growth equity fund, serving as their inaugural VP of Talent and a Board Director for The Bar Method, Inc., a Mainsail portfolio company. Ms. Cavanaugh also served as an interim Senior Executive with The Bar Method, joining after Mainsail exited their position in 2015.
Ms. Cavanaugh began her career as a Senior Process Engineer with Merck & Co., Inc., working in the US, Europe and Asia from 1997- 2003. Ms. Cavanaugh received dual B.S. degrees in Chemical Engineering and Biochemistry from the University of Notre Dame in 1997 and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in 2005.

Matt Potter brings over 20 years of finance and operations management within venture capital, private equity, and technology startups. Mr. Potter currently serves as a Consulting CFO for a select number of venture capital firms providing finance, operational and administrative leadership.
In 2020, Mr. Potter founded Lomond Hill, LLC, a strategic financial services company providing Venture Capital and Private Equity Funds fractional CFO and COO services, including formation and fundraising, legal and compliance, comprehensive accounting and financial statement preparation, online accounting and reporting and human resources. Additionally, from 2000 to the present, Mr. Potter has served as the Chief Financial Officer of Delphi Ventures, a Silicon Valley based firm exclusively investing in life sciences. Delphi has raised more than $1.5B in capital, made more than 175 portfolio investments, and realized more than 130 IPO or M&A exits. Mr. Potter’s responsibilities include financial reporting and fund administration, legal, tax and compliance, fundraising and investor relations, and human resources, benefits, and facilities.
Mr. Potter is a Member of the NVCA CFO Task Force and sits on the Board of Directors for the Private Equity CFO Association. Mr. Potter received a B.S. in Business from Cal Poly San Luis Opisbo.
